One Year After The Fuoye Student Protest. Was the protest worth it? Rip Icon Rip Kenny

Justice for Fuoye....The painful Fuoye Student Protest will be a year old on September 10,2020...Did Joseph Okonofua and Dada Kehinde have to die? 😢
About 365 days ago, a painful and disastrous event occurred on the soil of a place called Oye Ekiti...
To read the full details read :the truth about the Fuoye student protest
Oye Ekiti has always been a peaceful place even though a lot of people claim the indigenes are kind of touchy...
Well, let me tell you my own side to this story...
My Report concerning the Fuoye Student Protest
I woke up that Tuesday morning of the fateful September 10,2019... I was feeling kind of weak... I had a technical drawing assignment to submit.. So I slept really late... But I wasn't done with it... So I had to continue that morning..
Mind you, one of my neighbours told me the day before that some guys were planning a quiet protest... I was seriously praying to God for school to close for that day.
On a norm.we have Chm 102 every Tuesday by 8am but the lecturer fixed it an hour earlier... Some of my neighbours left... But I stayed back...
About 30 mins after, two of my neighbours returned with the good news "No school"
I jumped up and gave a shout of Joy.... If only I had seen the future....
Some minutes later, I and a friend decide to get to the market to get something...
Ongetting there, students had flooded the area... They surrounded the Palace of the King of Ikole... Thats when I realised the Fuoye Student Protest was real...
Next thing I heard was.. They left the Palace and walked all the way to the Federal road leading to the North... They successfully made some Kings leave their thrones..!!
That was crazy 🔥
Students are powerful when they are together....
Over ar Oye, they had their protest as well...
We needed light but they give us light like once a week....
Students need light for a lot of things....
(some months before this protest Fuoye Ikole Campus had a protest about electricity... On getting to the Nepa office... On getting there... The office was empty... They ran away 😂 😂 😂 😂...
But on that September 10,2019 of the Fuoye student protest... They didn't see it coming... 😂
I won't talk about that in details 😂)
As a matter of fact, the protest ar Oye was complete and the crowd had dispersed..
But Ikole boys were still on the Federal road... "Call Nepa and let them bring light right now" that was all they requested...
Then..
Bisi Fayemi, the wife of the governor of Ekiti State was on a tour... Her convoy was passing... But the road was blocked..
"Fayemi's wife!" Students shouted excitedly...
They wanted to pass... The request didn't change "Call Nepa and Let them bring light now!"
Hmm... After a while... After further struggling.. The first gunshot was heard... They shot into the air...
Students fled like antelopes chased by a ravenous Lion..
Unfortunately the gun shot met a guy on his hand and made a hole in his hand... The first blood was shed..
The convoy reversed and went back towards Oye... But as the convoy left, some students claimed they saw the police men carry a student away.

Students got into vehicles and chased... Thats how Dada Kehinde (- the first death) followed them... 😢
He didn't know death was so close...
The students at Oye campus were alerted....
The Governor's wife convoy got to Oye and met a crowd of students waiting for them...
To cut the long story short, the shooting started after a police man slapped the then SUG President...
Students shouted! Screamed! But what more could they do...they threw pure water bags at the police men
Then....
The shots were fired..
Kenny was shot in the eye and passed on immediately..
The policemen then released tear gas..
Joseph Okonofua aka Joseph Icon was trying to rescue a friend who fell down and he received the shot on his stomach and his intestines popped out 😢 God 😢
He passed on the next day 😢
At about the evening time, the police men came in their numbers and started assaulting students...
(if you check through twitter you'll see some painful videos... The students use sticks to fight back 😢 the police men shot)
(Ill post some of those videos later)
As if that wasn't enough, they went to houses at school junction and at Irona.. They started shooting like.... I don't just know what to type anymore 😢 😢

..
Over at Ikole, we couldn't sleep, we were packing our bags ready to run away.. All we could do was call our friends at Oye..
Most of them couldn't pick their calls, some said they had to lie on the floor...
Things happened during the Fuoye student protest....
I mean things...

One year has passed and nothing has changed
The death of Icon and Kenny must not be in vain
